Tchaikovsky vividly depicts the winds of hell as a whirling fantasia in Francesca da Rimini\, while Sibelius described his Second Symphony\, a magnificent fusion of lush sounds and powerful passions\, as "a struggle between death and salvation." The Spokane Symphony performs these beloved works under the baton of guest conductor Marco Parisotto.
