DESCRIPTION:Mary Barinaga\, assistant dean for regional affairs to the Idaho WWAMI program\, a five-state medical school cooperative (Washington\, Wyoming\, Alaska\, Montana and Idaho)\, will present an information session for those interested in attending medical school. Students in the WWAMI program spend their first year of medical school in Moscow\, Idaho\, their second year in Seattle and their remaining two years at clinical sites in Idaho. Baringa will address Idaho's efforts to create more residency training opportunities in Coeur d'Alene\, which would allow students to remain in the state for all four years of their education.
