Music Director Eckart Preu will conduct the Spokane Symphony performing Carl Orff's powerful and always popular Carmina Burana with soloists, the Spokane Symphony Chorale, the Spokane Area Youth Choirs, EWU's Symphonic Choir and The Whitworth Choir. Excerpts have been widely used in movies and television commercials throughout the world, including The Matrix Revolutions, The Last of the Mohicans and South Park. If there was a pop chart for Classical Music, Carmina Burana would always be at the top!
