Join the Inland NW Food Network for a fun and informative day visiting three of our region's farms that employ sustainable agricultural methods.

Rugged Roots Farm is located in Bayview, ID. Their mission is to grow chemical-free produce, flowers, herbs and plant starts by encouraging vibrant soil ecology using NO-till practices and working in partnership with earth's natural processes. We grow food as a way to feed our community, feed ourselves, and help build and foster a resilient local food system.

McKerracher Family Farm is located halfway between Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint, in a quiet valley among the beautiful evergreen forests of North Idaho.  They offer on-farm pick up or delivery of fresh produce and organic (not certified) chickens.

Greentree Naturals is a small certified organic farm nestled between the Cabinet and Selkirk mountain ranges in north Idaho. They produce a wide assortment of specialty produce, herbs, fresh & dried flowers, gourmet garlic, hops, and berries. Expanding from a farmer's market to supplying upscale restaurants, Greentree Naturals has also become a center for summer farm tours, workshops, and on-farm research, including on- farm workshops related to all aspects of sustainable organic production and market gardening and offers a consulting service of the same.

The tour is open to people ages 16+; no pets please.
