St Vincent de Paul sponsors the 4th Annual Veteran's 5k/10k Run-Walk. The event will take place at O'Shay's Restuarant, 313 Coeur d'Alene Lake Drive, Coeur d'Alene and will begin at 10 a.m.  A pancake breakfast will be served by The Hayden Community Church to all participants. Coffee will be supplied by Bakery by the Lake and Pepsi will be providing bottled water. Music will be provided by Ruby Frog Entertainment. The American Legion Post 143 will be on hand for the color presentation and the Patriot Guard Riders will participate in a parade of motorcycles to kick off the event.  Other sponsors of the event include Fleet Feet, Pepsi, Evenson Chiropractic, Heritage Health and the Boys and Girls Club of Kootenai County. Registration fee is $20.

All proceeds from the event go toward helping veterans who are struggling with housing, medical, food, clothing and employment issues.
